Llegada a Madrid

My flight took off from Philadelphia on Saturday, 13 November, and arrived on Sunday at 8:00 am in Madrid. The plane was half empty, and quiet, An uneventful transatlantic flights. The plane arrived just as the sun was rising. I caught a shot of the sun popping up from the horizon. It was a lovely way to start the morning.

CaixaForum

I spent the rest of the day trying to recover from the jetlag. After checking into my hotel, I headed to the CaixaForum on the Paseo del Prado. The reasons were varied. I needed fresh air, and the Forum had a special exhibit on Fellini. The Forum also has a nice café on the fourth floor with funky decor, tasty food,  and super comfy chairs. I viewed the exhibit and then headed up  to the fourth floor to order coffee and maybe get a "bocadillo de jamón". While I waited for my food, I ran into an acquaintance from Virginia. We talk professional stuff.
